A calm walk-through of your pet's procedure day, from admission to home care.
Food and water: Please do not feed your pet after 10pm the night before. Water is fine right up to admission.
Admission appointment: Book a slot with reception. You will sign the consent form, we will confirm any known conditions, and we will take a small deposit against the estimate.
During the day: Your pet stays with us. We will phone once they are through the anaesthetic and comfortable.
Discharge: Usually late afternoon. A nurse will walk you through home care, medication and what to look out for.
Post-op checks are included with your pet’s procedure and are done by our nursing team. Bring your pet back in for these appointments so we can spot any small issues before they grow.
